DOES any one here use skin lighteners from palmers regularly?

Are they safe or any good? What happens if you use it for a year and then stop?

Be very careful. Skin lighteners work by stripping off the surface layers (sort of a mild chemical peel). I would not recommend using them too frequently for a long period of time without getting some advice from your dermatologist.

Make certain that you use some sort of moisturizer (to protect your skin from the damage caused by the sun and the lightener) and avoid spending too much time in the sun to start.
