Don't worry and relax. I know you're scared to make your Dad mad. You might have a virus if the computer won't let you make changes. Run virus scan if your Dad has norton or any other anti virus. If it doen't find anything, you are probably ok. Call someone you know and trust to help you. If you don't have any viruses, you can probably make the changes.
Make sure you go to 'settings' on the start menu
then go to 'control panel'
then go to 'display'
and then 'settings' tab
change the resolution and hit 'apply'
you might have to try different settings until you get it right but the changes won't work until you hit the 'apply' button

What probably happened was that your display options were changed. To further help you, I would need to know what kind of computer you are using. If you are using Windows XP, then it is easy. Go to your start menu, then double click the control panel icon. In that menu there should be a display option. Double click that and in the window that opens, at the top there are different tabs, "settings" should be one of them. There will be a slider type selector towards the middle, try one that says "1024x768" and hit apply, the screen with change, the program will ask if you like the setting or not..you can try them till you find the one you like. NOW if you are using an apple computer, then I will have to get back to you on that one.....Hope that helps.

Sounds like the video card is acting odd. Try this for starters. Right click on the My Computer Icon, Click on Properties, Click on the Hardware tab, Click on Device Manager. Find the item that say Display and double click on it. Right Click on the Video Card that shows up and delete it. Restart your computer. Sometimes you just need to make the computer think the video card is new and it will adjust itself, but to do that you have to delete it first. If that doesn't work, feel free to email me or instant message me and I'll be happy to try and walk you through some potential fixes or at least help research the problem. werewolf_ranger@yahoo.com and I'm on yahoo messenger. If you IM me, wait until after 5 because I'll be at work otherwise. Hope this helps and best of luck.

try restarting your computer. Also, sometimes computers have a setting that magnifies everything for people who have difficulty seeing... you might want to check that. If you dont want to call your dad, you can always call customer service.

I don't know how you can change it back, but it's been happening to lots of people I know. It just does it by itself. No one knows how to get rid of it. I'll be watching your answers to see if anyone knows.
