I would have liked it more if it had been a paper bag, for enviromental reasons, but have to say that I agree with the answer that Edmund B gave for your question.
Sometimes we can see the most awesome sights in the most amazing places, if only we didn't try so hard to see.

American Beauty is quite an unusual movie, from one side it doesn't fit into Hollywood common scheme, from another side it reveals all modern American society stereotypes. I wouldn't say it's one of my favourites, but it's worth watching, at last once. Kevin Spacey acting is impressive. Bag, well, beauty is an abstract concept and some people see beauty in the world as a whole, in every single thing around them. It depends on your attitude.

THE most beautiful bag in the world? It's a close call but I've got a Tesco's carrier that would give it a run for it's money. Now that's a good looking bag....

I agree. The bag was a stretch for me, but I understand being mesmerized by the randomness of the action... kind of like watching a waterfall or a butterfly.

It wasn't the bag, but what it was doing to him and how it was doing it. It was empty, light, and floating. It signified his mind, his state of openness, just at the right moment. I have seen this magic in objects; it doesn't matter what it is, because everything is made of atoms. Maybe it will happen to you sometime.
