you buy an ovulation kit for 5 days it comes with 5 peeing cups and 5 tests you do one test a day for 5 days at the same time every day.... it sort of looks like a pregnancy test but for ovualtion....now on the instuctions it tells you when you should start to test so it comes up positive when you are at your highest and that means you are going to ovulate in 24 - 36 hours so you have sex on the day you get a positive and the day after....its worked for alot of women thats just an easier thing to try so that when you know you are most fertile you can plan a romantic evening and just enjoy the night instead of worrying the WHOLE month about making sure that you and your husband had sex on certain days so goodluck and for the future CONGRATS

Never use first morning urine to take an Ovulation test. Use them the same time everyday. I always use them in the afternoon after holding urine for about 3 hrs. I find it's most accurate this way. Also the test line has to be darker or as dark as the control line to be considered a positive.

BTW, don't believe that everyone ovulates on Cycle Day 14 or 15. Also, it's common for women to ovulate on different days each cycle. I've ovulated as early as Cycle Day 10 and as late at Cycle Day 18. I would suggest charting your BBT and paying attention to your cervical mucous also.

You will do the same procedure as using a pregnancy test. The test will show you if you're ovulating or not. I tried this method to become pregnant with my first two children. But if you get tired of using these kits just know one ovulates 15days after your last menstrual. I know this for sure because I am a nurse.
