The completely safest way for teens who are in a pre-marital relationship is abstinence. Using the counting method where you count your days between ovulation isn't the most effective and isn't smart to do since all women are different and aren't always on a perfect schedule. So to say what is safe after a period isn't really safe any time after your period without some type of contraceptive.

It's never safe to have sex without a condom because you can not only get pregnant but you can get an STD. And even if you do there is always a chance something could happen. So do yourself a favor and wear a condom or get on birth control.

You know what they call a gal who depends on the rythem method of birth control? Mother.... Menstrual cycles and time of ovulation can vary from month to month. Better to get a rubber and be much safer that way. Besides, a nice thick rubber cuts down on a guys sensitivity and he can last longer..Always a plus in my book.

You can have sex at anytime in your cycle (even during your period). But, you should ALWAYS have your partner wear a condom. condoms help stop sexually transmitted diseases.
ALWAYS USE PROTECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!
You sound young, maybe you should wait a couple of more years before worrying about having sex.
