I'd love it. I did that with a highschool girlfriend, after like 15 years. We did not stay in touch, but it was interesting.

It has happened before. It is kind of a shock at first, followed by curiosity, and then realization that this is just a friend from the past and nothing more. It always feels good when someone remembers you and cares enough to say hi.

Men don't realise that when they start talking to an ex again out of the blue, that it makes his current girlfriend nervous. They should stop, but of course they'll say they aren't doing anything wrong, so what you have to do is just trust him. If he loves you then there's worries that he'll be thinking about his ex too much.

As long as the guy isn't with someone else now. Otherwise, you are asking for trouble....not cool either. On the other hand, there's nothing wrong with it. You'd know right away if he was interested in catching up.
