It's one of the few places any guy can be assured they'll see nudity no matter what they look like or how their personality is as long as they have a little money.

Because, especially in the US, nakedness or near nakedness is still relatively taboo. In stripclubs men can enjoy seeing scantily clad (or less) women, and being the visual creatures they are (moreso than women in general) they can get a great deal of pleasure from watching. It's harmless (just watching), and plenty of women enjoy going to stripclubs too. Anything 'taboo' is generally going to be more appealing...if nudity were commonplace in this country, strip clubs and porn wouldn't be as fascinating to so many (although they'll never go completely 'out of style').

I don't really like strip clubs. Don't get me wrong, I would like nothing more than to see some hot naked ladies, but I have been to strip clubs a few times and they just seem really depressing. Depressing that the girls can't find anything better to do with their lives. Depressing to see the older guys in there by themselves that think the girls like them back because he gave her a tip. I guess its fun every now and then (like once a year) and if you go as a group and have some drinks. But its really kind of a novelty thing for me.

I like going to strip clubs with my boyfriend. It's like watching a live porn sort of. I think it is a harmless, fun way to spice up your sex life. Or, if your not getting any, it's an easy fix. I agree with the person that said strip clubs are a big deal because they are taboo. We came into this world naked so what's wrong with nudity? Absolutely nothing.

The thrill varies from man to man; but often, there's a great titillation to be had by sitting fully clothed while an object of attraction performs nude before you, creating an illusion of a master/subject relationship. Sometimes there is an added frisson of the forbidden attached to boot.

Because decent women on their right minds won't have a damn thing to do with the kind of men who frequent strip clubs!! Or they get tired of looking at their wives, or they're pretending to be straight.

they like strip clubs for the same reasone women like Chipendales. I know i think its fun to look at extremely hott guys, guys prolly think the same about watchin women.
