is it enough to give them meds to stop them from offending?

The "med" they're given for chemical castration is (in another dose) the same med some women use for birth control...Depo Provera. A med is something someone can stop taking or their body can change and not react to it as was meant. Physical castration is permanent and a one-time deal. If there's no doubt of their "offending" behavior, then (physically) castrate 'em.

I think castration is a great method...can you rehabilitate someone so evil? To hurt a child or is horrific, there is no excuse for it, and it should recieve the highest punishment. A rapest is a hater, something that doesn't just go away. Why risk letting the jerk out of prison, so he can or can not rap again? My theory, the Bible says eye for eye, tooth for tooth, those guys should get exactly what they deserve..besides isnt it safer than the gamble they will reform? If a man beats his wife almost to death, I say lock him in a cage with a angry gorilla...Great day to you!

This is a touchy subject. Some girls get mad at older guys cuz they dont want them and then when they have sex with them and wont do it again they scream rape. It truly makes me mad when a minor consents to sex with an adult then says they raped him/her for stupid reasons. Its not fair to the adult, yes its wrong they did it, but minors shouldnt consent to sex either. No i dont think they should be castrated unless its liek someone molesting a child under the age of liek 12.

ABSOLUTELY! Among many other demeaning things I could think of. People who are sex offenders should have their own prison where they are "offended" 8 hours a day 7 days a week untill their sentence is up!

The meds don't work and neither does castration. I think they should be put to death.

They can just stop taking the meds. It is proven to be a better deterent to make sure they don't do it again. cut it all off!

While is may sound like a great idea, it has not been shown to have any effect on stopping the behavior.

They can be chemically castrated, and kept doped up by doctors so they're too lazy and stupid to molest anyone.

i personally think that if you rape someone or sexually assualt someone, you should be castrated. that way, we wont have to worry if the meds dont work!
