Is there a way to get Crystal 9.0 reports on a the web using the crystal report viewer? It's easy with 8.5 - but the only way I've been able to get 9.0 reports online is with VB.NET and a PDF.

Business Objects' web site hasn't been any help to me.

No it is not possible. The reason Crystal does this is so that you are forced to use the report viewer which will require you to purchase a liscense. If your using anything above go the PDF route.

If you can do without it, don't go above vs 8.5 for now. Vs 9 & 10 are a totally different animal...and you are right about their on-line help...it is virtually worthless and very little help getting a hold of a live support person.

The database 'engine' in the newer versions is not compatible or supported yet by a lot of places that have use earlier versions of Crystal.
