Most (straight) men let it grow or just trim it. Some (gay or metrosexual perhaps) guys shave it.

Depends on the guy. I have seen all 3. As a woman, I prefer a man to be trimmed, but not shaved.

I'd guess that the typical American guy will only shave or trim his pubes if his partner wants it that way. I will occasionally take a beard trimmer to the area when hair starts getting caught in my underwear.

the average american guy does not shave but trims a little from time to time just to make sure they are not getting too long.

I trim it all short then shave some of it off.

the average guy trims, but i know a few who shave it all.

ive known some of all of them but i prefer trimmed and not shaved.
