If you are asking if i would ever consider it for myself: I feel very confident being me, i am comfortable in my own skin and wouldn't consider it at this point in my life. If you are asking if i think society has gone overboard with plastic surgery: Definitely, people obsess over their looks WAY too much! I think that if people felt okay with their personality and with their "interior being" then they wouldn't feel like they need all these petty little surgeries when their nose is too big/small, stomach too fat, thighs too close. Some of these things can be fixed with good old fashioned exercise and healthy eating. I think some people are just looking for the quick way out. I think that it is totally acceptable when its used for reconstructive surgery for someone born with a birth defect or was in an accident, etc.

Anything that makes you feel good about yourself is great. It isn't for everyone.
If you are looking into it there are a number of really great Yahoo groups about Plastic Surgery. Get references.
What I have noticed is that you might want to avoid one stop shopping. Just because a person does a great tummy tuck it doesn't mean they do a great breast lift/augmentation or whatever.
