I've downloaded one version, but the woman who does the intro seems so uninterested and it doesn't get you excited to sing. Plus, the music itself is so over synthesized that the bass and whip noises that usually accompany the song are sorely lacking. Any help would be greatly appreciated, because I have other songs I'd like to get too. Thanks.

You can't get the orignial recordings for any karaoke. The skills of the band that put the music together can vary greatly. I bought a great set of cds on ebay called KJ Tools plus and there is also the Sweet Georgia Brown collection of cds that are very high quality. Hope this helps.

In order to get anything close to the original recording you will have to contract it out to a recording studio that has an in-house music production team. Usually the producers and artists of the major record labels will not release instrumental versions of their music in order to protect their interests. Very few songs are released in their original instrumental form if they are deemed to be profitable as part of a compilation of other songs.
