I'm on the pill, but obviously i dont take them while i'm on my period because you're not suposed to (the while pills are placebos), if i have sex on my period without a condom can i get pregnant? I know it's not probable, but is it possible? Please only answer if you know for a fact.

if you're on the pill no because you dont ovulate, if not you can.

You can only get pregnant near or during ovulation - when there is an egg involved - which usually takes place usually during a normal cycle 10-14 days after your period BEGINS. The egg lives from 6 - 24 hours after ovulation. The sperm can live in your body and potentially fertilize an egg for up to five days after the 'deposit', though, so that must be taken into consideration.

Yes- it is very possible to get pregnant if you have sex during your period, depending on how long your cycles are. Of course, the closer you have intercourse to your ovulation date, the better the chances are. Ovulation occurs sometime around the middle of your cycle, so for example if you have a 28 day cycle, you ovulate somewhere around the 14th day. Although the egg is only viable for 24 hours once released from the ovary, sperm can live up to 72 hours once ejaculated.

U cant get pregnant while u r on ur period but still to be on the safer side always encourage ur partners to use condoms to avoid unwanted pregnancies my child.

almost impossible to get pregnant when you have your period ...especially if you take birth control thats why you dont tak epills on your period bc you dont have to! its almost impossible ...however its not always a good idea to have sex on your period.....

i think what you mean is can you have your period whle u r pregnant, the ansewr is no. if you know the reason why u have ur period, this should make sense, not to be mean. :)

yes you can. The lining of your uterus is shedding, but there are still eggs at the beginning.
