You usually don't have a period when you are pregnant, but it has happened. Are you having unprotected sex?
I would call your doc and schedule an appt. I don't think that it's pregnancy, but it could be some scarring or an infection in the uterus.
While you are there talk with them about the weight gain since quitting smoking. You don't want to start again, so maybe they can help you get on a good healthy diet and exercise program.

Is there any way u could be pregnant? Even though u have your period it is possible to be pregnant. Throwing up is a number one sign. If there is no possible way you could be pregnant then i have no idea, but i would suggest talking with your doctor.

It sounds to me like something is wrong with you. I do not think the smoking is related at all I could be wrong. But you really need to go to the doctor and find out what is going on.
