It seems more people have turned to the Internet for their news and information. Besides, a newspaper quickly becomes an old product in this age of technology.

The internet is giving newspaers a run for their money, but newspapers are here to stay. Psychologically people attach more value to information from a respected Daily than from a blog.

As long as there are people who grew up reading newspapers, I really don't think so. Some, like me, prefer reading from a book or paper, rather than from a screen.

I can read for hours on end when I'm reading a book, but when I have to read from the screen, I lose interest really fast.

All I can figure is its because I didn't grow up with computer technology :)!

The paper the news is printed on may be endangered. That's why after I read it, I recycle. Even though I buy issues only if someone told me something good is in it. I don't hate the newspaper, but I don't see why I need to read horrific news every day. It will bring my happiness down. Down in the slumps. I want to be happy.

The printed word will last for a very long time. the advent of cars spelt the end of train travel. VHS came along and it was the end of cinema. The printed word has been around for a long time . an i think reading the paper on the train is easier than powering up my laptop and connecting slowly and expensively to timesonline

I still read the paper every day...I like reading the paper even more than looking at a computer screen. Looking at a computer screen for too long can hurt your eyes.
