First of all, if your parents are that into making you stay ask them for some space, that you need to be able to grow up. Really there's nothing they can do to stop you from moving out. If you have the means to be able to live on your own, then do it. But make sure you know you can do it, otherwise you might get in a jam that you will need their help. Just talk to them and tell them how you feel about the whole situation.

First off I would try to explain to your parents that you are an adult now, and it's time to go off and start your own life. Try to remain calm, a screaming match never shows maturity. If your parents refuse to listen to reason... just leave, they can't make you live with them once you've turned 18. Call the police if you have to, they'll come and stay there while you pack your stuff.

well at 21 you are able to move out on your own and they can not force you to do anything they are nolonger responseable for you or your actions but if you are counting on money from them to help you better have a good job and savings because living on your own is very expensive you need to weigh the pros and con's of your decision and look at all the possible bills you would have. car insurance, utility bills, cable, rent, food ,clothing, washing, gas money, plus the required deposits needed to turn on your water, heat, electric, cable.plus the furnishings for your place

Tell them if you don't leave now; you never will. Put a picture in their mind of you, around 45, still living at home, eating their food, using up their hot water, no job etc. All because you have your wonderful parents to support you forever. Worked for me.

ok, make them understand that your not a kid anymore. Tell them that you will come back anytime possible (even if that is a lie) ask them to maybe pay for the rent untill you find a job, if not say as soon as you raise enough money you are leaving, and they cant stop you
