Theres no meaning to anything we make meaning to what we want and make our own reality...there is nothing

A band called the Godfathers once summed it up as: Birth - School - Work - Death, and that is what comes to mind whenever I hear this question asked...
However, having a background in Philosophy I would have to add something else within this mix. Though we all go through virtually the same life situations and stages, you might consider that the meaning of life is to live a life that you would not mind living over and over and over again, as in a eternal recurrence of the same life. In such a way, it would be incumbent upon you to live a life that maximizes your potential happiness and yet also makes the world a better place. These goals are not mutually exclusive - yet the balance needed to maintain a "meaningful" life must encompass both. I have greatly simplified my answer here but suggest further readings that would support this answer.

Well yea death is gaurented in life, but life is continues, for the body dies but the soul live on, the meaning of life is to live it, and live it as a pure person should, then achieve enlightnment and join our father at his right hand side in heaven, oh and heaven is on earth, so just live make yourself perfect, and wait untill your family(us) follow, then help bring heaven back to us

to please god. think about it 'what profits a man if he gains the whole world and looses his soul' if u get the best of life here and don't please god where will u spend eternity???
