You have to resolve the situation someway. It is unhealthy and unsafe to live like that. If possible try to get a responsible person such as a teacher, principal or some other adult to intervene. If that doesn't help then you do have to call the cops.
Running away does not solve the problem, it only exacerbates it. Now you become the bad one. I wouldn't worry too much about your parents. If they can treat you like that then they definitely deserve some punishment.
Most of all, if you have any younger siblings then you should RUN TO THE POLICE. Do it for them if not for yourself. You deserve to be safe.

Don't think that by calling the cops and having the courts emancipate you, that things will be better. CPS or any other type of agencies main goal is to keep the family together. You may call the cops only to find that all they do it take a report. And then all you have are angry parents. Don't get me wrong thought, you should never have to suffer the abuse of another person. My advice would be to talk to someone older that you trust about what is going on, that way you have some type of support because trust me what you are considering is no easy task. Good luck with what you decide and God Bless.

There are several questions that come up reading your question, the first is what kind of abuse? If Sexual then you must go to someone and get help, a teacher, friend, cops, etc. If physical abuse such as spanking you with a belt, hitting you with a paddle etc. it all depends on the damage to your body. If the abuse if verbal, which can be just as bad as physical, you need to get help. Maybe the whole family needs help. Is there anyway you can get help from a church, pastor or such? There are so so many questions you leave open. Such as age, sex, etc. Are you old enough in your state of even get emancipated? Are there other relatives you could go to? Things like this. Please don't take the easy way out on this, this is very tough question and you need professional help not someone like me.

I know these are your parents and I know you love them, but they need help. If what you say is true, they could go even further even unto death. There are too many children being abused. Do you know that you can call anonymous and they will never know. Call the authority immediately. At least give them the chance to investigate your claims. My prayers are with you. Be safe. Until you get help, find that place (where you and God meet) while it is happening and I assure you that God will relieve you of the pain.

there is nothing you can do except to contact the authorities. anything else will be worse for you. if you run away, your life will be harder, if you confront them as some have suggested, they will probably hurt you more. if you don't want to talk to the cops, talk to a teacher that you feel comfortable with, they are legally required to report abuse. your parents will get in trouble, yeah it sucks but it is better then being abused. good luck, I'll be thinking about you.

Try and talk with a school counselor or a teacher you trust and get a 2nd opinion. If your sixteen, go to Job Corps and get a GED and Trade or Skill and just leave them all together. Atleast you can to earn for yourself. But try and do something before America Most Wanted gets involved.

For sure call the cops. This is NOT right at all and you should NOT EVER have to deal with that, you DO NOT deserve to be treated this way.
