What can I do slow it down or stop it? I just got it today

Well sorry there is nothing you can do to slow down or stop your period.I know that sucks ur going to be on a 16 hour plane ride.Just get yourself some thick overnight pads and an extra change of panties...and try to chill out....

Sorry but you're stuck! I know how you feel. I was on a 27 hour bus ride while on mine, and the bathrooms on the bus were not in order. I just used super absorbancy tampons, and still wore a super absorbancy pad. And I changed the tampon every time we stopped. Since you'll be on a plane, you can at least check it whenever you feel the need!

you can't stop it from happening. don't we all wish that were possible!
if you are uncomfortable with changing it in the bathroom on the plane (don't blame you, it's icky in there) use a tampon and a thick pad.
look at it this way, at least you'll have some extra padding for the hard airplane seat! :) good luck to you sweetie.

There is nothing you could do to stop your period. But try this to minize the bleeding: don't drink cold drinks, take some advil to prevent cramps; since cramps cause a heavy bleeding, and take extra tampons and pads. Good luck on your trip!!!

Hey that must be real bad. Keep sum pads with you. cahnge them regularly coz a stain cud b relly embarssing. Or ask yer local drug dealer if they have sumthin that will help u postpone yer period. m nt sure if dere s sumthin dat will work dat fast though. gud luc n have a safe trip.

there's a bathroom on the plane... just go change your stuff in there... i don't really see the problem...[not to be inconsiderate] but there isn't really a way to stop your period so... good luck =)

Ultra absorbant tampon and an overnight pad together. Got me to China.

DIVA CUP!!! Its a great invention that many women don't know about. It sounds gross at first but it will save your life!!!
