during your period....People were discussing whether it was okay or not and some people mentioned doing it with tampon in. Isn't that weird and dangerous?

For the record, I am not dumb. I think like all of you do, but girls were saying that they did that. I honestly did not know it was even possible.

Completely dangerous. I read somewhere that a girl got real badly injured when she had sex and forgot to take out her tampon. Then again, a friend of mine said she forgot as well and didn't have a problem.

Having sex with a tampon - this is crazy!!!!!!! If one is able to have it this way, he either has a very short penis or the tampon is crumpled in the Douglass pouch (the very back of the vagina).
It's totally ok to have sex when a woman has a period. The cervix contracts with sexual arousal and bleeding stops!!! The best way is to get the woman highly aroused (like manually) before you insert it. So, don't be affected by what some people say and try it yourself! But it can be messy anyway, so be prepared.

yeah that's dangerous -- it's gonna push the tampon up further. not safe. and if she is not able to take that out -- she could risk having toxic shock syndrome (i think that's the term). which is very dangerous.
reason why this topic is brought into question is because it's becoming a "trend" -- scientifically speaking, (keep in mind i haven't done this -- so this is not experience-based) women are more "turned on" when they have the period because of hormones, and also it is around that time when sex is much less painful. so if you wanna do a woman really hard -- try it around that time. it's a little messy though.

Its dangerous, the tampon can get stuck and then the person would have to go to the doctor. I would recommend that no woman should have sex during her period. It's nasty as well as dangerous.

Yes it would be very dangerous to have sex with a tampon in. It could get pushed deeper into the body and a women could get Toxic Shock Syndrome. I have never heard of this. Women having sex with a tampon. It's not normal.
Most women don't won't to have sex during that time of month.......

That is disgusting!!! I would think it would be a very embarrassing trip to the hospital to have a doctor dig it out while you explain how much of a retard you are. If you're not old enough to know you can not have sex with a tampon in then you probable shouldn't be doing it!!!! I would also hate to think of someone that dumb reproducing!

it is dangerous to have sex with a tampon in.. actually he will push it all the way in and you probably wont be able to get it out. It can cause toxic shock. You can take it out though... and still have sex which is not dangerous and not that bad... just a little messy.

Sex on period is ok, but very messy. The shower is a good place if you can pull it off without killing yourself. You should never have sex with the tampon in, if it gets stuck way up inside or just forgotten about, it can cause a fatal condition called TSS.

I DEFINATELY wouldn't suggest having sex with a tampon in. Is that even possible? Sex during your period isn't bad, that is if you can stand getting blood all over you. I have to admit that I've done it before.
