It depends on different factors - where you live, how much experience you have, and what the turnover at the restaurant is.

Most fast food restaurants pay minimum wage, or just over. However, where I live in Northern California, they have a very difficult time keeping employees past the probation period. Most of the local fast food restaurants, including the local In N Out, start their base pay at $8.50/hour and go up. Some go as high as $10/hr after your probation period is over.

The last time I checked in-n-out pays anywhere from 8-10 an hour. Its always been the one that pays the most out of the rest of the fast food places buts its also hard to get a job there.

Doens't In-n-Out have 401K? Many fast food restaurants are now offering 401K to its employees. At least I think that's what is going on.
