just remember that your parents are scared and shocked and dealing with alot of things right now. you didn't say how old you are and that makes a huge difference so adding some details will help, let them come around on their own and be willing to talk to them about it. also make sure you are practicing safe sex EVERY SINGLE TIME!

I'm sure people are going to say something like be safe or it depends on how old you are but the only good time to have sex is when you are married that way you know that you are in a committed relationship and have nothing to worry about especially your parents so let it be a one time thing, mean it in your own heart and tell them that so that way they'll lay off (hopefully) and you'll be safe from STD's and escape the burning flames of hell just joking.

If you both are under age...there is not, you just have to behave for a while and weather the storm..
Try to get permission for the bf to come visit you at home when the family are present so that your parents get to know him. Only see him this way until they learn to trust or like him.
And above all...stay away from the sex thing.

First, you better be on birth control and him using condoms. That will help. If you are under 17, you really need to stop. At least at 17 you are closer to graduation. Please be sure he really loves you and doesn't just want sex. Most people are more likely to get pregnant 13-17 days after their cycle began, so try to not have sex then. Otherwise, just talk to them and take them seriously. They love you and only want the best for you.

Give them time and they will get used to it. There is no good or bad way to show your parents that you are old enough or even mature enough to have that kind of a relationship. Parents want what is best for their children.
Just give them time and be very careful about what you do. Use protection and be an adult during the entire thing and it will help things.

This is a major conversation no matter what. The best way to handle it is be mature, not throw a fit and understand their concerns. Don't shout back "everyone else is doing it" or "but I love him" and just let them know you are being responsible (ie wearing a condom). They will want to yell and scream and ground you and forbid you from seeing him. But if you act mature and deal with the consequences, they will be less likely to explode and come down extremely hard. Best of luck!

Parents can be so unfair. I mean what business is it of theirs if you get pregnant? He'll marry you and provide for you and your baby right? Your ready to be a mommy right? You parents are just being over bearing. Tell them you are old enough to be an adult and handle the consequences of having sex, namely having and taking care of a child.

Depends on your age. Assure them that you will practice safe sex, maybe ask your mom for advice. But if you are like 14, I'd lock you up for a couple of years.

o gawd.. ok well it seriously depends on HOW OLD you are so stating that would be great and HOW they found out. i mean i have to admit, my mom's friend found out about me and my bf cuz she saw a note from the OB so i had to tell them befor she did. after i told them they were furious.. but its mainly because i was under age.. so i was grounded from basically having a life. it really does depend on how old you are. if you are old enough it really shouldnt be any of their buisnes but it sounds to me like you are under age as well.. let me tell you this.. I TOLD THEM LAST YEAR AND IM STILL GROUNDED. so if you find out how.. tell me

It doesn't matter how you try to break it to them you are their "little" girl. They know that it was bound to happen one day. They just don't want to grow up yet. As long as you guys are being safe that is the important issue! Good Luck
