It was so long ago, I can't remember. Also, didn't his eye get fixed?

Steve died, I can't remember how though, it was a long time ago. After the funeral when everyone had left the cemetery someone switch the coffin, so that's how they're able to bring him back now. Kayla took their daughter and left Salem, but I just saw that she's on her way back, yay!! Steve did have his eye fixed before he died, but had it gouged out again in a fight. I'm so happy to see them back on the show. I haven't watched it in months and turned it on last Friday just by chance and saw that Steve was back. I'm hooked again already!
