I took one of those one-step ovulation test yesterday and it said negative, last night more like this morning (midnight-1ish) my hubby and I had sex, this morning I took another test and it shows positive. Now it is my understanding that with in the next 24-36 hrs is the best time to try to conceive, what are the chances that last night, “adventure” would result in a pregnancy? I know if I want to be to be safe to have at for the next 24-36 hrs, but my husband is now out town! (Figures)

Yeah! This is good, very good, you already have sperm in your body so when that egg pops out it can get fertilized. I have read that sperm can live up to 7 days by the time they get to the fallopian tubes, so it's looking good for you.

Good luck. Now the hard part will be waiting to miss your period. If you aren't on prenatal vitamins already, go buy some today, it doesn't hurt to start taking them before you are even preggos...get that folic acid in you. Take care and treat yourself like your pregnant, it's a great way to reassure yourself after you get that positive test result!

Check out the stie below, it's for teens but the questions and answers are pretty good, and simple to understand.

Never use first morning urine to take and Ovulation test. Use them the same time everyday. I always use them in the afternoon after holding urine for about 3 hrs. I find it's most accurate this way. Also the test line has to be darker or as dark as the control line to be considered a positive. Seeing as the positive test was taken in the morning, I would say it's not really a positive. I hope that helps some. Good Luck!

So in thirteen days you've gotten had a interval, ovulated, and gotten two confident being pregnant experiment??? It sounds somewhat bizarre to me, however I'm definite it's not unimaginable. I might wait a pair extra weeks (whilst your interval is consider to come back) and take an additional experiment. If it's confident at that factor I might cross see a Dr. Good good fortune to you :)

Sperm lives in your body for up to 3 days, so it's possible you did get pregnant last night. However, to make sure, I'd start "humping like bunnies" for the next 24-36 hours :)
