Two identical looking boys are sitting on a wall. A man walks up to them and says, "I don't think I've ever seen more identical looking twins." But to his surprise, one of the boys says,"Well, we have the same parents and we were both born on the same day, but we are not twins!"

The boys were from a multiple birth greater than two. They were two of three triplets, or two of four quads...

Well two people can be born on the same day - but the boys were not specific as to whether or not they were born in the same year. This would explain it - if they shared a birthday, but were a year or more apart in age.

They could have been born on the same day in a different year. Or part of triplets or more....

Well now. Couple of different things could be going on. Maybe they are part of a larger set of multiples. I lean more toward them being born in different years.
