why cant i move my emails to a folder?

when i check off an email and click the move button nothing happens

hmmm....odd. Try this. Open the Email, then click on the grey drop down box that says move. It should bring up a list of your folders. Click the folder you want to move the message to, and it should go there. I move my emails after I read them, and the screen automatically moves to the next message.

I'm assuming you are using Yahoo! mail. You have to specify a folder to move your mail to. If you just click the move button then the mail won't move anywhere. There should be a dropdown of options of where to put the mail you want to move. Select one of the options from the drop down and you mail should be moved.
