IS wearing thongs all the time like I do is it wrong!!?? my mom says it is but I don't wana listen to her anymore!! she bossy! and kinda mean but I love her a lot.
But I enjoy wearing thongs!! they're confurtable!

Thongs are fine - moms may be a little uncomfortable about them because they are sexy underwear. But as long as you were them appropriately, your mom cant be upset. Wearing thongs all the time can cause problems in some women. Just dont be those girls who wear them sticking out of their pants! Always a NO NO!

No, she's not wrong, just protective. If a girl wears a thong, then guys take that as being sexy and that the girl is "loose". She just wants you to be a decent young lady, not a trampy sort of gal. So get a few pairs of nice panties that make both you and her happy. It doesn't mean that you can't wear the thongs sometimes and the other panties at other times. If you make mom happy part of the time, then she will probably leave you alone the other part - and that's worth it right?

I guess its obvious by my answer I don't wear thongs. I love the way they look on the right body shape, but they also look darn uncomfortable!
The only concern I have, beside the discomfort of something up my butt cheeks all day long :), is the risk of infection from the part of the thong that is against your anus. Unless you wash after each bathroom break, you may cause yourself a bad infection.
I'm sure that is what you mom is thinking. Maybe, since you know your way around a computer, you can research female infections from thongs. If you can show her she has nothing to worry about (if that is her concern) then I'd like to know too!

By the way you write, it seems you are very young, perhaps a teenager still? If so, listen to your mother. She isn't stupid, she isn't caught up in the past, she is a very wise woman who cares about you. It's true that if a guy sees a thong peeking out of the top of your jeans, his mind will wander and think that if you wear a thong, you'll show it to him too. It connotates "loose."
Do what pleases your mother, even if you don't agree. I don't have my mother anymore, and if I could hear her nagging me, it would be like the sweetest music! Once you are on your own and living by your own rules, then you can buy as many thongs as you wish. Until then, please your mother. It won't kill you to wear more conservative panties. They're panties, no one's gonna see them anyway, 'cept your mom. Since she sees them, does she wash your clothes? If so, you're probably very young. Do what she says.
P.S. If you do wear one after all, to prevent infection, do this:
After every time you go to the bathroom, after using dry toilet paper, use a wet paper towel to clean the hind well, then a dry paper towel to dry yourself up. That way the panty doesn't get dirty, and your own bits & pieces stay clean and fresh. This is in fact a healthy bathroom ritual regardless of what kind of panty you use.

its not wrong to wear thongs. the only thing to be cautious about is that you need to breathe down there. so wear cotton or try sleeping with no underwear at night. the Vagina has a lot of moisture and can cause bacteria to grow. as well, thongs can be unhealthy because it can push fecal matter into the vagina causing infections. My advice, just try to switch from thongs to light cotton panties. Hope that works for you!

Is it the fact that your wearing thongs or because they are visible to others. For some reason I see numerous kids out there with their thongs hanging out of their pants/skirts.
If there comfortable for you then go ahead and wear them, however if your mom is still buying your undies then I guess she has the final say.

I'm actually a 'panty' girl... and I guess after reading the other answers and finding out about thongs that I wouldn't suggest wearing them all the time, noone wants an infection! I'm glad I found this info out...

*sigh* thats a good question I hear good and bad things about them. If you wear them too much they can cause a infection. I also heard its not good to sleep in them. You should try switching off once in a while. Wait we are talking about thongs the under wear right??? hahah just checking.
