First off, when I was pregnant wiht my daughter at 16 the guy I was with at the time was 22. My father tried to get him on stachetory rape ut couldn't because at sixteen where I live it is concidered your own concent. Granted this was 5 years ago, and depending on where you live this can be different, but I personally think you have nothing to worry about. Also, I hope you don't take bone head's advice and get maried, only marry if you want to and of you really love him. And trust me honey, it's not all it's cracked up to be. It's way too much responsability for a 16 year old, you have a lot of life to live still, and the brand new baby is enough, you know? I hope I helped you feel better.

This is a very difficult question. I don't know how strict the laws are in this area with 18 year olds dating 16 year olds. I think jail sounds a little harsh myself since, although by law you are an adult, you are still also a teen. But this is perhaps a matter of if the girl's parents decide to press charges against you for being with their daughter. I think you should consult a lawyer if you are seriously worried. But, I have a feeling that out of all teen pregnancies, there are lots of cases of 18 year olds dating 16/17 year olds.

Also, it will be important for your baby to have his/her dad, so please at least get a free consultation with a lawyer and don't just abandon your child.

To avoid jail, yall need to get married, immediately. If your parents dont press charges, there wont be any filed on him. Put him on the birth certificate, that way he will pay child support. The easiest way is to marry him. Good Luck!!

You have to take on the responsibility with what you did. You knew how old she was, and you knew that you can get in trouble for the age wise even if she is pregnant, and evn if you don't put your name on the birth certiicate because that has nothing to do with it.
If her and her mother doesn't do nothing then there is nothing to worry about.
Was it love or lust? Did her parents allow you two to see each other?
