I don't agree with Gore politically, but he is a very bright guy. Politics was the family business for him. I don't know that her would have chosen it if his father had not been a senator. To rise to within a 1,000 votes of the Presidency in a field that is not natural for you takes particular intelligence and ability.

The man that claims he invented the internet dumb ? The man that claims he invented the video camera dumb ? The man that claims the book and movie Love Story was about he and Tipper dumb ? The man who took payoffs from Buddist Monks while in office and then claimed "no legal controlling authority" dumb? To call Al Gore dumb is to insult dumb people.

How soon we forget...or maybe I'm just old.
Dan Quayle (VP 1989-1993):
"I have made good judgements in the Past. I have made good judgements in the Future."
"One word sums up probably the responsibility of any vice president, and that one word is 'to be prepared.'"
"We have a firm commitment to NATO, we are a *part* of NATO. We have a firm commitment to Europe. We are a *part* of Europe."
Need I say more?

Dan Quail once addressed a group in Latin America saying "I wish I had taken more Latin in school so I could communicate with the common people."
That one statement alone disqualifies Al Gore.

No. He's probably the smartest guy to ever hold that office.
Quite the contrast to such 'Einsteins' as Spiro Agnew, Gerald Ford and Dan Quayle.

Dan Quayle was an Imbicile and the worst VP in America's great history.

I always thought it was Spiro Agnew. He could have been Pres. If he'd had kept his big mouth shut during Watergate.
