My periods were really bad before I got on the pill years ago. I like Kotex, but it seems that everyone has their own prefered brand. Buy a small box of a few different brands out and see what you like

i too have heavy periods I like playtex super tampons but first two days have to change at least every two hours and still wear pads and still can have leaks. but for me playtex are more comfortable for me. good luck. hey if you take a lot of aspirn or ibuurophin in can make you bleed more. they thin the blood. right about now i complain that i dont want to be a women. but it always passes

Tampax Pearl is what I like, but if your period is really heavy, you may notice that you will "leak" a little because the blood doesn't really have anywhere to go, since it is very heavy, it may pool up, and get clotty. Good Luck!

I have fibroid tumors so I can relate to extremely heavy periods. I use O.B. Ultra they are bigger absorbency than Super Plus and you can get them with or without applicators. No leaks!

Tampax is good - smooth....but also look into Diva Cup. I recently found this product and love it. www.divacup.com
