The most important thing in a successful marriage is tolerance. If you are your wife are happy then it will show. You have to be able to handle anything, including finacial troubles by knowing that you will come out in the end. A strong marriage is one full of understanding and forgiveness.

I imagine that trust, faith in your partner plays the major role in keeping a marriage alive. Give space to each other in the sense accept that you both are individuals and need some time away from each other - she may want to spend a day at the mall whereas you may want to hang out with your male friends at some bar. Waking up with a smile and a kiss can make the start of the day as great as can be. Financial troubles are a part of life and they do tend to stress you both out, but if you both learn to lean on each other, understand each other - even this is a small issue to overcome.
So the summary is loving one another, forgiving one another, faith and trust in each other, giving space that you can call your own and both should love one another to keep that spark alive. Once the spark is alive - financial troubles will vanish as fast as they came.

I highly suggest that you read, The 5 Love Languages, by Gary Chapman. Great insight about real relationships and it really works.
1)Find out what her love language is...and learn to speak it.
2) Open and honest communication, but do not lean to criticism too often. Ratio is 5:1. Or 1 criticism per week. Aren't 52 enough for a year? We aren't mind readers, you know.
3) Learn to enjoy each others talents and loves. It works both ways.

I don' t think there is a right answer to this question. Every household has different kind of battle. The right answer is what works for your house. The solution should come from both husband and wife and not just YOU. Good Luck.

Love, trust, honesty, respect for each other, open communication about everything large and small. Sex is just something added when you have a good or great relationship. When the woman feels loved and cherished, she will willingly give sex. So, sex is not the main thing to hold together a relationship--it's just something extra.

knowing and trusting that in all situations (especially when you are apart) your spouse is always looking out for you and your best interests as a married couple

financial struggles happen to almost everyone. It is how you manage them that determines how big a problem they become.

Communication, honesty and faith. If you don't believe in a successful marriage, why should it happen. If you don't communicate about what is going on, you will never know. Hang in there.......

communication and find things to do that don't cost money that you both enjoy, like go to a friends house to hang out, go hiking, go biking, go for a walk, watch a movie together, anything just be best firends and be there for each other, my husband and i have been through it, we ended up filing bankrupcy but during our roughest time we would just get in the car and go for a drive to the beach or something and just be together you have to be best friends as well as lovers if you cando that then you will make it through anything
