she plays that character best. In one episode of "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody", she didn't play a petty rich girl (she played someone normal). I must say as her first role as a normal character on tv, she did good. But, she does play the spoiled, rich girl best.

Ive notice that too. But i think shes good at playing Characters like that. I love watching her in Suite life of Zach and Cody. Just because her stupidity is Hilarious, Like when she was gonna make them Grilled chesse and just put the chesse in the pan while it was still wrapped... FUNNY show.

theres a term for actors like that. If you analyze movies, a bunch of famous actors do the same thing, playing the same role over and over again. Truly talented actors play different roles in different movies.

I think it's because she's smart and take the opportunities that they give her. Obviously Disney thinks she plays that type of character well and she may not be able to expand her talent. My daughter loves her in all the shows though.

type casting sucks but thats your answer. Once you do well at a role like that its hard to break free especially as a disney channel star

Oh my god, I thought that I was the only person who realized that.
It's kind of sad that I watch the Disney Channel, but I think that more people do then what is let on.

yeah, thats type casting. Brenda Song is doing a kung-fu movie now - stereotypical. I think as an actress, she did whatever they offered her...it's a job and great exposure for other jobs.

wouldn't you play the same role everytime if you were getting a nice paycheck? It's like martin lawrence always playing a cop and steven siegal always playing annoying.

I don't think so. And for your information, her name is Brenda Song. She wasn't bratty on " That's So Raven ". I don't think. Well, I know she's not always the rich bratty girl.
