Neither wat or wats is in the dictionary. But if you meant "What is the difference between a pressure regulator valve and a pressure control balue, the pressure regulator value is one to control pressure at a certain level, such as used by natural gas supliers to reduce gas under high pressure, to a safe, constant pressure coming into your home, while a pressure control valve is one that controls pressure toa certain level, and if the pressure exceeds that level, it opens and releases theexcessive pressure, used in hot water heaters to prevent it from exploding if the thermastat sticks, and the temperture rises past boiling point, resulting in steam which could cause very high pressures quickly. Another simular valve is the one way valve to prevent movemient of liquid in the wrong direction. All are for safety requirements, and are required by building codes.

A pressure regulator holds an established system pressure in a discharge line regardless of supplied pressure. A pressure control valve is a direct operated hydraulically cushioned valve which can control itself or other system when required (or designed) pressures are present.

Pressure control valve uses a feedback loop to sense pressure, with control logic to electronically adjust valve to keep pressure at target setpoint.

Pressure regulator valve is a self-contained unit that is designed to maintain a specific outlet pressure or flow to variable input conditions. These are are usually simple devices that have been designed to support a specific pressure range.
