The trick to flying, is to throw yourself at the ground and miss. Alcohol helps. :)

I've been asking myself this for years. The simple answer is, you don't have hollow bones, you have teeth, you don't defecate every 15 minutes, and your brain isn't connected directly to your muscles. Plus, your hair is all wrong. Those little fine hairs won't get you off the ground. You need to find a way to modify them so that they become longer harder, and make sure that they branch out a lot. If you just change all of this, you might actually be able to fly. Oh yeah, your fingers need to be about 3 feet longer.

Good Luck.

Because the drag by the air is not enough to support your weight. Air is also a fluid and there exerts a buoyancy on our body which negates the body weight. Birds can fly because they create enough drag by their wings on air and that balances their weight.

You're too heavy. Or- The gravity's too heavy here. There's a place, one of Saturn's moons, where humans can fly. But you'd have to learn how to breath ammonia first!

You're too heavy, simply put.
Birds have light, hollow bones and very light bodies. Our bodies are, well, like giant bricks. Even if you had six wings, you couldn't be able to lift yourself off the ground. Oh, yeah. And because you don't have any wings, too.

Wrong Question...

Of course you can fly - just throw yourself out of an airoplane and you'll be flying...

The correct question is "why can't I land safely"...
