He is and will be a good player and a superstar of superstars. He may be the "first Dwayne Wade" but he will never be the "next Michael Jordan." There are a few players that you cannot compare others too. There will never be another Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson or Larry Bird. That said, Dwayne Wade will most likely be a superstar and one of the greatest players in the league. Possibly the best.

Wade has the potential to be the next Michael Jordon, but I don't believe he will become better then Lebron James.

No way. If any two people are the next jordan it will be either Vince Carter, simply because of the style he brings, or LeBron James, because of his leadership on the court and his ability to play against anyone you throw up against him. Dwayne Wade is an excellent player, but without a large center like Shaq around to draw pressure off of him I don't think he would be as impressive.

It's just you. Although Wade is a great player, Michael Jordan is the greatest player of all time. Jordan was obviously a great scorer, but he was equally as good on defense. Jordan also never had the benefit of playing with one of the greatest centers of all time. If Jordan would have had a Shaquille O'Neill on his team the Bulls may have went undefeated in a season. One of the best indicators of Jordan's greatness is that every great player that comes after him is compared to him. "So and So is the next Michael Jordan" or "He's going to be as good as Jordan". If you took a poll from NBA players who played against Jordan they would hands down tell you that he is the greatest. I don't think that we will ever see a player as great as Jordan again, but nothing against Wade. Only one guy can be "the Man".

DWAYNE WADE IS A GOOD PLAYER.. HE CAN SLASH TO THE BASKET WITH EASE,BUT THATS ONLY BECAUSE THE DEFENSE IS NOT ENTIRELY FOCUSED ON HIM BUT ON SHAQ. HE IS NOT A GOOD MID RANGE OR A 3POINT SHOOTER.
HES NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO BE THE NEXT MICHAEL JORDAN..MAYBE THE NEXT ALLAN HOUSTON THAT IS MUCH CLOSER..JUST A FLASH IN THE PAN.

This is the problem with the Finals. It focuses on only 2 teams. Your forgetting about LeBron, who is better than D-Wade.

Dwayne Wade needs to shoot jumpers and mid range shots if he wants to be anywhere close to MJ.

Naw, if ur comparing playing styles. Wade can't shoot threes like Jordan and definately can't dunk like em'.
But in terms of potential greatness, D-Wade and LeBron both have a chance.

He has the potential to be the games best player, however he will have to improve his mid range jumper and hope that Lebron James does not keep improving.
