Get their key players back from injury. Put Kerry Wood in the bullpen. Trading for Soriano may help. I can't see that there's any pitching help on the horizon. I think the Cubs may give up on the season soon and start trading away players instead of trying to pick up help.

get derek lee back and their pitching staff back in order and they'll be godd to go. but wait- didn't the cubs just win 3 games in a row and sweep cinncinnatti? i believe they did so yes the cubs can and will continue to compete this season. o yea- also we need to start hurting all the other cardnial players cuz it seems to work. albert goes down and the cubs start winning. what da ya know!! GO CUBBIESS!!!!!
