because when you love someone and they do things that we dont think is right we give them second changes so they can make up for their behavior and they usually go right back to their bad patterns and sometimes in a relationship people keep thinking things will improve and get better overtime and we think that eventually our partners will come around and that since we love them and have time invested in the relationship that is is worth all the sacrifice and struggle, but while we are waiting for them to change their ways resentment builds up to a point where a person thinks they cant stand it anymore and sometimes you can hate your partner for not trying to make the necessary improvements in the relationship...the hate is nothing more than the feelings grown out of resentment

Because they both are about passion. You can't hate someone if you don't care about them. Why hate someone unless they do something to you that hurts? Hate is the backside of love.
