2. it is bad to jump-start them
3. guys drive pickups so they can keep coolers of beer in the back
4. if you drive without oil, you will crack your heads on the engine
5. some tires have keys you have to have to take them off
6. the jack that comes with the car always sucks.
7. the battery starts the car, the alternator keeps it running
8. you have to change the oil about every 3000 miles
9. if you run out of water/anti-freeze, your car will overheat
10. never take the radiator cap off of a hot car

2: Cars can be dangerous weapons of mass destruction in the wrong hands
3: Cars can provide a lot of satisfaction if looked after properly
4: Cars (like snakes and kids) do not have ears, so talking to them in terms of endearment is ludicrous madness
5: Cars may bring about a change in your status amongst your peers, especially if you have one and they don't
6: Cars are probably one of the major contributors to global warming via carbon monoxide emissions
7: Cars sometimes have a will of their own and would act strange when least expected (an NO its not only Herbie the VW Bug that does it!)
8: Cars need gas, water (mostly unless their enginges are air-cooled), oil and some air (in their tyres at least) to be able to proceed
9: Cars are necessary evils - like mobile phone (and sometimes just as infuratingly noisy too!)
10: Last, but not least: Cars are simply a means to provide transport from point A to point B - nothing more!!!

Check all of the fluids regularly, including oil, brake fluid, anti-freeze, etc. and tire pressure for good gas millage and never close your car door, by holding onto the glass if there is no frame around it, it tends to loosen the window bracket in side the door. just a start, there are many more.
