You probably cannot. Ask yourself is his temper a part of his personality, in other words has he always been a hothead. If it is a part of his charachter then you cannot change him.He may need to see a qualified anger management therapist ot buy a anger management self help book at Waldenbooks or any large modern bookstore.
He has to get to the bottom of why he is prone to anger and learn to cope with what triggers those feelings inside of his mind.Good Luck!

You will not change your boyfriend. NO matter what you do. HE HAS TO CHANGE HIMSELF!! And he will not do that until he feels a need to.
Sorry but you are in a no win situation. You have to decide if you can live with his angry outburst or if he will at some point in time turn on you in a physically abusive way.
GOOD LUCK and please be honest so you can keep yourself safe.

You can't change him if he isn't willing to change himself. Sounds like an anger management problem. He will need more help with that than you can provide. But he probably won't admit that. Good luck.

He is the one who will have to want to change...it's up to him. It's hard to change someone if they don't want to. I had the same problem and I ended up breaking it off b/c I couldn't deal with the temper and abuse anymore....

Well if he is losing it now there is no doubt he will lose it later. There is no possible way to change someone, They have to change themselves. you may have a part in it, but if he is not willing to change for you now, don't count on it later.

You can't change him - only yourself. Get your self-esteem back in order, and realize you can do so much better.
