There isn't a good way to skip an exam..you'll have to take it eventually anyways.
If you still really don't want to the best way is to call in sick, but sound sincere and offer to take it at another time.

Suck it up and take the exam! If you fail...you fail. Everything is a learning experience and makes us who we are today.

Get a Doctors note.....it works and they move everything to the final.
