The inductees of the RRHoF are decided by music journalists.

Rush has never had a great relationship with rock journalists, because their success was not dependent on the rock media (it really bothers them that a band that they ignore, dismissed and trashed from the earliest days somehow sold millions of records over a 30 year period).

That's the only reason--Rush reminds the music press that they are not the all powerful dictators of trends that they believe they are.

Could not agree with you more, easily three of the most talented musicians in rock! Neil Peart is simply the god of percussion, Alex Lifeson is an incredible riff master, and Geddy Lee, sings, plays bass, and the effects pedals, all at the same time. One of the best bands ever live!. The only things I could point to, is they're kind of a prog-rock niche band, and they're from Canada. Hopefully, neither of those factors are in play, but I have a feeling they are. Wonder if we could write the Rock "n" Roll Hall of Fame, and flood them with letters, until they'd have to give in and induct this incredible band!

Because the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is run by "The Suits" and not by the people.

The answer is simple. Who ever decides what bands are let in the the Hall of Fame don't know that RUSH is the best band ever. And who ever thinks RUSH sux, you don't know jack sh** about music so shut up.

Don't know, probably because they are Canadians????
Neil Peart is one of the top named drummer in rock and he also wrote a lot of the cool lyrics. Rush inspired Triumph and a lot of the progressive rock scene.
Then again, Judas Priest isn't in either, and they inspired the twin lead guitar metal genre.

They're not old yet...plus they aren't that amazing. They should be called "That guy with the high voice and the huge nose and those two other guys"

Honestly, I like Geddy Lee in all, but he's no God.

RJ 13 doesn't know what they're talking about.
Rush is amazing technically and musically, and they are a band of gods.

Because they suck, or because the R&RHOF isn't run by dogs who can hear Geddy Lee's high-pitched whine.
