I was in the navy and had a great job offer lined up to start working for a consulting firm. On the day of my advancement in rank to E-6 I showed up to the ceremony in civilian clothes, told them to give it to someone that needed to stay in the navy to make a living, went down to HR, signed my terminal leave papers then papered my old office with photoshopped pictures of various crazy gay porn pictures with my bosses heads photoshopped over the actors heads. Oddly enough I ended back up at that command a year later to work on one of their ERP projects as a civilian consultant and all the lowly people there treated me like a god because evidently word of my prank spread around the whole command and now that I was on the Project Management team (not to mention a civilian) there was nothing my old bosses could do to get retribution.

Do This When Your Boss Is Busy
Then Tell Him That You Have An Urgent Matter
When He Calls You To Go In, Go In
But When You Are Inside Say: I NEED TO GO TO THE TOILET
Then You Stay Out For Awhile
And Go Back And Said I Want To Quit
Put The Letter At The Table And Leave..

There were two very sweet but scheming female managers in our department. They were both at the top of their game, everybody idolized them. They actually manufactured intrigue & mayhem within the unit as to prevent others from getting promoted. Seemingly simple, very innocent and hardworking, everything they touched seemed to turn into golden projects. Hardly working at all, their loyal underlings provided all the support so they can get ahead of the others.
But they played the wrong card when they schemed to block my promotion. They knew that once I had left the unit, they will both get stuck there, and I will be exposed to better opportunities at being promoted to a higher position.
To make a long story short, they both succeeded in transferring to the bigger department. But their friendship didn't last long, as (somehow) word spread like wildfire how they back-stabbed their way to the top as VPs. The underlings in our department told the minions in their new department how scheming the two really were.
I quit my job.
Now intrigue and mayhem follow them everywhere they go as the top bitchin' VPs who said and did all those nasty things just to get to the top.
By some strange twist of fate, I was recruited back by the company owner, as his daughter vouched for my record and performance.
I am now their boss.

Go into your job and just do nothing. Don't do any tasks, any to do's, any meetings. Just stare into space when someone asks you a question. See how long you can get away with doing nothing. When you get a hint of a meeting to discuss your job performance coming, call in sick. Finally go in and quit. You probably will have done nothing for a week or two and gotten paid for it. Sweet. Some people get away with it there whole lives.

This isn't something I did, but the co-worker of a friend of mine. I don't recall if he was fired or quit (but he was very bitter when he left), but the day he left his job he sent an email to everyone in the company (400+ employees) revealing to them that the CFO and Director of HR were having an affair (both were currently married to other people). Then he left the building! Of course it was a shock to everyone in the company and not a secret anymore! Now THAT's how you leave a company!

well...... depends where you work but if you work in a retail store, in a busy shopping centre. on your last day, once you have closed for the day get the ladder and hang the nice and expensive clothes from the celing, mix all the clothes up, and dress the manaquins in items that dont match.
works a treat and see your mangers face the next day...... a real kodak moment!!!!!!
it only works if you are in a management position as you have plenty of time to do it and then close up and go home. but you can still try. hope thats funny and cheeky enough!!!

When I was first hired by this company I told them in an interview that I'd be going on vacation during a certain month. The interviewee told me that it wouldn't be a problem. Well, about three weeks before i was to go on vacation, i told my supervisor. He looked at me and said... "What! you can't go, we will have three other people on vacation during that time and I can' afford to have four... I can't let you go." I told him okay, I'll try to get everything figured out. Well, the day before I left for vacation I told him that I was going to be gone for the next two weeks on vacation. He said, "What, I thought you were going to figure things out." I told him "I did figure everything out, my plane leaves tonight at 7:30 and I will be staying at MGM Casino in Vegas. Everything is good to go!" Apparently he fired me after I left... I'm not sure why though LOL.

On your last day. leave a mouse in a place that you are sure someone afraid of mice will see it.
I did this in a store I worked at, and was told there was a very loud scream, followed by another when another woman went to see what the first one screamed about, followed by the sight of two very fat women trying to stand on the same chair.

Hey... I got my tongue pierced when I was 18 and a shift manager at McDonalds... I took off three days so the swelling would go down, as not to cause distraction at work and the General manager said Piercings were not allowed. Yet I have my ears pierced four times each...I threw my keys at him and told him to #?%@ off? very liberating

Three days before the place closed for the end of the season, I gave my nasty boss his keys back and told him to shove them up his A**. He was a jerk, made us work 1/2 extra every single day and wouldn't pay us for it. Plus he threatend to fire me because I was 5 min. late because my daughter burned her hand. (I was actually 10 minutes early) He was the biggest jerk I ever worked for.
