I'm assuming you mean "weapon"... As many individuals will answer something to do with "Man or Ignorance of Man" - I'd like to exapnd on those types of answers and suggest the end (finish) of the world will most likely come about as a biological threat (most probably man made). Most other forms of disaster (both man made and natural): nuclear weapons, hurricanes, earthquakes, etc. only impact a segment of the population and have geographic limitations. Even "man ending" asteroids would most probably leave a segment of humans alive in the end. The most probably "game ender" would be biological in nature as this could be spread through contact, air, and water - such that all humans - GLOBALLY - would be infected and ultimately destroyed. If the infection were quick enough, global impact could occur faster than a cure could be found - and even those few individuals that are able to "lock themselves away" would not have enough genetic variability to repopulate the earth - thus "finishing" man. When? Next 100 years. Where? Global but would most probably start in the US or EU.

What weapon will be used to finish the world? Hopefully: None. What weapon could finish the world? Is such a weapon at all possible? Yes.
A positron bomb. This is a "light bomb" that generates a black hole. Which country would use such a weapon? Either Israel or the United States, as they are still the only countries now that are technically capable of its construction. When would it be so used? Possibly in 2008. Where would such a weapon be used? Iran.

Possibly nukes, and sooner than we'd all like to think if Iran is allowed to succeed in it's development of them. Martyrdom is an honour to them so they will not fear the MAD (mutually assured destruction) that has thus far prevented nuclear war.
If mankind is around long enough, they could be wiped out by increased solar radiation unless evolution provides us with some some kind of protection in time.

first there will be an outpour of creatures from some unknown location and take the world of man. Then these creatures will try to defy god and the angels only to their demise by an extreme full body infection from southern winds. Man although less in numbers will prevail at the end by patience, courage, piety.

I believe that the weapon that is going to destroy the world will be one of a Natural Disaster created by God. The corruption and lack of morality is increasing in this world it will be sooner than we think.
