In the US, elections are always on the Tuesday after the first Monday in November. That means November 7th this year.

And I wish more congresswhores were worried they'd lose their cushy country-club membership. But they have effectively made many laws over the years giving incumbents huge advantages in elections for that very reason.

The only way to keep corruption out of Washington is to replace the legislators every two terms.Same at the state and local levels. The longer they're in there, the more powerful they become and the harder it is to unseat them. They get so used to the prestige and the perks of office they succumb to every temptation that comes their way. The more I read and hear about some of our "leaders",the more frustrated I am.It's deplorable.
