Nope. Oily skin, large pores and improper hygiene (not bad hygiene, but just not taking proper care of your skin condition) are the main causes of acne. I had a pizza face in my late teen years and saw a Dermatologist for years. I was given cleansers and lotions and pills. Finally I was given a very strong drug called Acutane (sp?) and it worked. Good luck and sleep tight... after you wash your face.

No, on the contrary, sleeping is not only good, but essential for good health. Sleep allows the body to repair itself, including the skin and your face. People who lack sleep have lower immunity and are more vulnerable to sickness and diseases and skin conditions like pimples.

So good rest, good hygiene habits, good stress management and a good diet should do wonders for your skin.

often it does, if you sleep on one side all night, the oils on your face get trapped next to your pillowcase b/c not enough air flow - possibly causing more zits. make sure to wash your pillowcase a lot - that should help.

While sleeping your body is still producing oils. I would just suggest washing your bedding regularly as well as washing your face before you go to sleep.

Not unless you are sleeping with make-up on. Before you go to bed, make sure you wash your face really well with a medicated acne wash. Also, make sure you change your pillow case.
