That depends on whether you want its shelf life or its half life in application. Shelf life for most pesticide formulations, if stored according to manufacturer's instructions, is about 2 years. Diazinon is a bit different - its breakdown product is MORE toxic than the original molecule (higher mammalian toxicity!). The problem is that you don't know how much has degraded without analysis - so be skeptical about anything older than 2 years. As for half life in application : about 4 days on plant.

Diazinon, an organophosphate pesticide, is not a terribly persistent chemical compared to some of the organochlorine pesticides.

Average half-life in soil is about 40 days. On foliage, the half-life is about 4 days.

In mammals, the half-life is about 12 hours.
