Just Imagine - Here is a nice theme for the Soccer world cup. Imagine all the super-heros of DC and Marvel play a soccer match. The stars of DC would be Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Robin with Superman being their Goal-keeper. On the opponent side, The stars of Marvel would be Spider-Man, Wolverine, Cyclops, Electra, Dare-Devil, Invisible-Girl and their Goal-keeper would be Mr. Fantastic (the leader of the Fantastic 4, Dr. Reed Richards).
This will be the Soccer game of the century.
Any comicbook artist or writer out there ?? Any way if not,
Who do you think would win this great Soccer match ??

it would have to be a tie cause Mr. fantastic could stretch himself around the entire goal, and super man could flatten the ball every time he hits it, it would be a good match till like the 3 hour of it then when the score is still 0-0 it would start getting boring, so the final thing would be that the marvel heroes fighting the DC villains and the marvel villains fighting the DC heroes, um...on that match i cant tell you that,

DC for sure. Sure, Marvel has tons of powers, but the Flash and Superman alone can completely dominate. First, both Superman and the Flash could move faster than anyone on Marvel could even dream of. Since Superman can use his hands, he could catch the ball and stop play EVERY single shot on the goal. Correspondingly, the Flash could single-handedly kick the ball to himself several times and score before the rest of the team could blink their eyes. Mr Fantastic wouldn't even be able to stretch his arms fast enough to block. Wolverine couldn't even release his claws in time. Cyclops' beam would be too slow. Even with his spidey sense, spiders can easily be beaten ("Hey, my spidey sense is ting--SCORE by the FLASH"). Also, Superman could be completely clearing the field for the Flash with his super breath so the Marvel characters would be out of play. If any of the Marvel team used their powers on Superman, it wouldn't affect him at all. So, at best, it would be a 0 vs 0 game. No matter what, Marvel would never score. If DC brought Kryptonite, they would be disqualified for purposeful intent to injure.

Seeing how the Marvel team doesn't have any speedsters, I assume DC would just give the Flash the ball each and every time and just let him rack up the points. Furthermore, if Batman was on the team, he would find the specific weakness of every Marvel character and exploit it at various points in the game. Result? DC wins.

what are the rules? full contact? can you hurt people? can you blast them with beams?
basic soccer rules i'd say DC will win, they have the fastest characters in any comic universe.
with you team selection DC will probably win, but if given a choice to top DC vs top Marvel Marvel will win out.
BTW if the ball passes the line even if its already caught the goal should still count. Mr Fantatic would suck as a goalie

ur teams or not fair.. fair for mavel at least , you should at least put the hulk and silve rsurfer on the marvel team to combat the streaght of wonder woman and superman. or Silver sufer and thor...cus as you got the teams now DC would kill them .. hell supe's would kill single handedly win the game for dc. and everyone else would be on the bench.
Ohh and Super K that is true about them being faster then whoever marvel has on there team now.. but if you put Silver Surfer on marvel ..he would beatthem both.. he can travel faster them the speed of light...( of course just in comics that is )

marvel all the way they have wayyyyy more superheroes then dc and they have way better powers that would take dc down easily
