4x+3y+6=0 is equal to 3y= -4x-6, which is in turn equal to

The quick way to get the equation of the perpendicular is to use the basic straight line equation: Y = mX which goes thru the origin. The line not thru the origin is (Y - h) = m(X - k). In this case (Y-2) = (3/4)(X - 3).

That's the equation and at this point you'd have the right answer on your paper. The rest is simple algebra to put it into the form the question asks for.
