so it will not have a chemical interaction between the essential oil and the stainless-steel tank. because i want to use the tank (as a container) and mix the solution composing of citrus oil, menthol and a little bit of alcohol.

Sure, a stainless-steel tank would work. You just need to make sure that the citrus oil is very pure (doesn't contain a lot of citric or ascorbic acid from the fruit itself), because even though it's called stainless steel, that doesn't mean it can't corrode when attacked by acids. Even if it does oxidize the metal a little bit, it probably won't affect the contents any; it'll just discolor the inside of the tank.

Yes--- to circumvent any problem with corrosion, use a higher
grade stainless, such as 316L.
