I actually completed one of these deals and did get my $50 gift certificate, however you do have to enroll or participate in offers from the representing site and many of the offers cost money, so it depends on the cost.

Thats the catch never never give out your credit card details to these people, how do you know who they are its all a con.
There are survey people who give you cash without asking for any details apart from your address.

Anyplace that asks for your credit card in order for you to make money is a rip off and they are trying to scam you out of your money.
